 Staff | How Capoeira Legados began | A Brief History of Capoeira | Mission Statement Our Mission Statement It is the mission of CAPOEIRA LEGADOS to promote the knowledge, history and artistic qualities of Brazilian Capoeira through outreach and education using and developing multimedia formats. CAPOEIRA LEGADOS is dedicated to the concept that the many Capoeira groups, mestres, academies and philosophies of Capoeira share a wealth of knowledge and experience and mutually share the responsibility to educate the public, culture and nation they are residing in to the benefits of practicing Capoeira as a life style and artistic endeavor. To this end, CAPOEIRA LEGADOS allocates a percentage of all sales and activity fees to the support of those in Brazil in need of assistance, and develops master exchange programs between Brazil, The United States and other host nations where Capoeira is practiced by recognized groups and recognized instructors. |
